As a duo, our aim is to give you the authentic Regency music experience, remaining historically accurate while providing a polished, varied and entertaining program.

We play a diverse program of music that would have been performed in homes, houses and concerts of the regency era / 18th century. Our programs can cover everything from stunning virtuosic Mozart, story-telling english song, to light-hearted playful Irish ditties. We perform music by composers such as Purcell, Handel, Haydn, Mozart and Arne, along with the many unfortunately anonymous composers who's songs were popular in the era.

Regency Recitals is a unique duo because we can cover everything from the highbrow repertoire to lighthearted and comical street songs. Not only that, but our diversity as performers allows us to not only perform piano and vocal works, but also instrumental interludes (piano and clarinet, piano and flute). We can tailor our program to suit the setting, but generally we aim for variety, and truly have something to appeal to all.
